The overall aim of PBS is to improve a person's quality of life and that of the people around them.


Aims
These sessions are about introducing you to the Positive Behaviour Support Model , giving you an in-depth knowledge of the model and be able to create, evaluate and monitor Positive Behavioral Care Plans.
This is a 1-day course (min 7.5 hrs) for new starters.
Objectives
By the end of the course, you will be able to:

communicate and/or show behaviours of concern

of the Positive Behaviour Support model
... look at the value of Functional Analysis, and how to do them
... consider how to provide Positive Behaviour Support
... share ideas and examples of positive and proactive strategies
